Hi, my name is Ellan. I'm a Vietnamese artist who works primarily in games, currently living in Brisbane, Australia. I love working with all types of art mediums - from traditonal materials like graphite, ink, watercolor and acrylic, to both 2D and 3D digital art.

Growing up, I've always been captivated by gothic fantasy medias. Whether that be the dark supernatural world from Junji Ito's mangas, or the Victorian-gothic looks of the characters from American Mcgee's Alice and Alice: Madness returns. These serve to be one of my biggest creative influences and inspire me to become a concept artist.

What I find fascinating about video games is that it is a harmonious combination of all forms of art - visuals, music, animation, creative narrative, even theatrical acting in some cases. To me, video games is the most immersive art form, as it invites people to directly explore and interact with the creator's creative vision. I aspire to be able to collaborate with other creative minds and bring those visions to life.
